That your finish is sharp
Close photos of cut lines, trims and ceilings, not just a wide shot of a lounge room. Your own jobs, edited and sized properly so they still look right on a phone.
Anyone can say they are a tidy painter. The customer is letting you into their house for a week, so they want to see rooms you have finished and hear from the people who live in them.
I build painter websites that show the finish, not just describe it.

Drop sheets, covered furniture, cleaned up each day. If that is how you work, the site says so in plain words, because it is the thing people worry about most.
Interior repaints, exteriors, new builds, strata and commercial are different customers with different questions. The ones you want more of get a page each.
The quote form goes to your phone as a text. It asks what is being painted and where, so you know whether it is a bedroom or a two-storey exterior before you ring back.
You pick the jobs. These are the usual ones, and each gets its own page written for the customer searching for it.
Basic covers the four pages every painter needs. Premium is where the site starts doing work of its own. These are the things I would build into it fora painter.
The customer drags a handle across the photo and watches the faded weatherboards turn into the finished job. One slider per job, with the suburb and what was painted.
When a customer has said something good about their exterior repaint, it sits beside the photos of that house, not on a separate reviews page nobody opens. I only use reviews you have permission to use.
Inside or outside, how many rooms, ceilings and trims or walls only, and a photo if they have one. Enough in the text to tell a two-day job from a two-week one.
A homeowner wants to see finishes. A strata manager wants to know you are insured, can work around tenants and will turn up when you said. Each gets a page written for them.
Fixed price in writing within 24 hours. Basic is live within a week of getting your photos, Premium within two. Every price is on the pricing page.
Basic
$990 build, once. $99 a month.
Four pages: home, services, about, contact. Nothing up front if you spread it over twelve months.
Premium
$2,490 build, once. $179 a month.
A page for each job you want more of and each suburb you want work in, with before and after galleries.
Word of mouth still ends in a search. The person you were recommended to looks you up before they ring, and a site with your finished jobs on it is what turns the recommendation into a call. It also brings in the people who have nobody to ask.
No. Finished photos are enough to start with, and I go live with what you have. Take a before photo on the next few jobs and I will add the pairs when you send them. On Care and Hosting that is one of your monthly changes.
A builder costs less each month, and you lay out the gallery, write the interior and exterior pages and keep it all current yourself. If you would rather be painting, have it built. You send the photos and I do the rest, then add new jobs when you text them.
I also build websites for electricians, plumbers, concreters and landscapers.
Before you decide: How much does a tradie website cost? · Do I need a website if I’m on hipages? · Website or Facebook page: what does a tradie need?
Sometimes that is a new site. Sometimes it is a Google listing and nothing else. Either way you get a fixed price within 24 hours. Want to see it first? Ask for a free homepage mockup.
